Virtual Hours:

Course Description:
We will be following Common Core State Standards building on topics learned in Integrated Math I & II.
Platforms for Distance Learning
1. Google Classroom will be used for announcements, assignments, quizzes and tests. Please be respectful with all correspondence in this platform.
2. Remind will be used for last minute notifications since most students have phones with them at all times. I will give you the code as soon as it is available.
3. Google Meet will be used for live instruction. The link for our meetings can be found in the top left hand corner of our google classroom. Once you click on the link, you will join our meeting.
Course Expectations:
- You will need to access the IM3 online course through Google Classroom.
- ATTEND live instruction on scheduled day.
- ARRIVE on time.
- TAKE thorough notes
- CAMERAS must be ON
- MICROPHONES mutes unless instructed otherwise
- PARTICIPATE

- Pencil/blue pen
- Calculator (not required)

NOTEBOOK PROCEDURES
Notes are an important part of your academic progress. Notes will will be submitted every week through Google Classroom and will be part of your grade. Notes must be labeled correctly; Title/objective and highlighted date to earn full credit. If you are absent on a scheduled day please leave room in your notebook for missed notes. Copy the notes from a peer or email Mrs. Yanez for copy of the notes. It is your responsibility to copy the notes.
Assessments and Quizzes
Assessments will be used to monitor academic performance. This includes quizzes, tests, oral and written responses. Assessments will be posted in advance.
Quizzes will be given weekly. If you are absent on a quiz day, you are expected to complete on the day you come back. Please make arrangements.
Homework:
Homework will assigned several times a week. Assignments will be updated on the CHHS website classroom IM3 Calendar page and on Google Classroom. Anything submitted after the deadline will be considered late. Late work will be accepted as defined in your Individualized Education Plan.
Grading:
Your final grade will be based on the total points earned at the end of the semester. Your grade will be calculated by dividing your total earned points by the total points possible, the percentage will be converted to letter grade. All missing work must be completed as defined in your Individualized Education Plan. The semester grade will be the one that will be on your transcript. Parent/student is encouraged to access the AERIES website for updated grade.

Homework, Classwork, Projects 25%
Participation 10%
Final Exam 5%
Absent Policy:
It is your responsibility to make up any Notes, Class work, Quizzes or Tests you missed during your absence. You will be provided a grade day for each day you are absent. If you miss a quiz or test day, you must make up that quiz or test day upon your return, NO EXCEPTIONS.
In an effort to minimize paper waste, syllabus acknowledgement will be submitted electronically. A paper copy of the syllabus will be provided upon request.
